Pergamon

Last weekend’s adventure to the Aegean. First stop:  Pergamon, an ancient city on the northern Aegean coast.  The city is now known as Bergama.

The theatre was first built in the late 3rd century BC. These existing ruins are from the 2nd centurt AD.

Check out the slope of the lowest section–umm, no thank you!
